Are you ready for Hunger Games to premiere this Friday? My friends and I have already purchased our tickets and are chomping at the bit to see it!
This past Saturday we all went to the nail salon and got manicures and pedicures using polish from China Glaze’s Hunger Games line. What do you think?
We were both riveted by Riveting and besotted with Smoke and Ashes. My nail technician was a little perplexed that I wanted a flower with Smoke and Ashes. Putting Luxe and Lush over the manicure sealed my HG look.
My other friend used Foie gras on her toes with lux and lush and dress me up with lux and lush again. The topcoat really made those colors stand out and I want to recreate the look myself
Now why am I babbling on about nail polish? Well, I want to share the HG nail polish with you! I’m giving away four polishes: Riveting, Foie Gras, Hook and Line, and Smoke and Ashes.

Hands down my favorite character is Cinna! Though I love Rue as well. 🐱
As for a quote, um…I think I’m going to have to just post some of my favorite quotes in general because I don’t own the book to look one up related only to my fav characters. Here’s a few in no particular order.
“Here your dreams are sweet and tomorrow brings them true. Here is the place where I love you.” – Katniss (During the scene that made me cry my eyes out)
“I’m smiling at you even though you’re aggravating me.” – Effie (This line had me cracking up)
“And may the odds be ever in your favor!” – Effie (I’ll admit, I think every time I enter a giveaway now. lol)
can’t even explain how excited i am for this movie, i’ve been waiting so long! The books are so amazing. My favourite characters are Peeta and Rue! “The more likable he is, the more deadly he is.” – Katniss. 🙂

This is such a nice giveaway! And my answer has got to be Katniss as boring as that is. She has so many good quotes – it being her book! I especially love “I am not pretty. I am not beautiful. I am as radiant as the sun.”
Undoubtedly its true that this particular film is the best hyped film of this year and the most awaited movie too, one can only imagine the star-power of this flick and the powerful plot of this story that has surely obtained the attention of the media and the women and men as well. Once again, this film has produced a lot of buzz just like the book which has the same title as the movie has.
My favorite character is Rue. I don’t have a quote for her, but the scene (don’t want to spoil anything, be warned!) where Katniss sings to her is beautiful and I can’t wait to see it on the big screen.

I love Peeta in the first book, and I’m pretty bad at quotes…but he says something like “I want to die as myself” before the games. I just love the sentiment.
I’m actually a Gale fan so i’m kind of in the minority i think! I just love the way he loves Katniss (and he sounds hot lol!)
I love when he says to Katniss: “I do think you’re mad and I’ll still go with you.” I have that quote highlighted in my book!

My favorite character has to be Rue. She doesn’t have very many quotable things but to me she just represents such an honest innocence. Second to Rue by a very little is Cinna. Telling Katniss that he’d bet on her then reminding her to go out with her chin up is probably one of my favorite parts of the book.
I havent read the books (not my type to read, I never got into harry potter or twilight either!) But I love nail polish!
I’ve been a huge fan of these books since the beginning! My favorite character has always been Katniss. Her bravery and strength is just extremely heroic.

Peeta sighs. “Well, there is this one girl. I’ve had a crush on her ever since I can remember. But I’m pretty sure she didn’t know I was alive until the reaping.”
Sounds of sympathy from the crowd. Unrequited love they can relate to.
She have another fellow?” asks Caesar.
I don’t know, but a lot of boys like her,” says Peeta.
So, here’s what you do. You win, you go home. She can’t turn you down then, eh?” says Caesar encouraging-ly.
