While skimming a daily email digest from Shelf Awareness the other day, I noticed that Laura Numeroff had published another book in the “If you give…” series. This latest book is titled If You Give a Dog a Donut.
I remember when I got “If You Give a Mouse a Cookie“. My kindergarten teacher had given it out to the entire class. I still have it. The series is such a classic and so endearing. I bought If You Give a Cat a Cupcake on its publication date a few years ago and it is my favorite book to give to new parents for their little one’s library.
Laura Numeroff, thank you for writing such an amazing, imaginative, and endearing series.
